While the content for the pages on this site is created by hand using Emacs, I wrote aPERL script to help create the final HTML. I created the PERL script because I maintain this site on a ISP (account) that doesn't have server side scripting support.
This script can be viewed or downloaded. I also created a quick introduction of how I use the scripts commands to publish journal entries in three different formats from a single source file. Since rdist isn't an option for my current account, I use the most excellent sitecopy to upload the finished pages to my hosting provider.
