Introducing: Glen Alan Coakley
The purpose of this page is to tell you a bit about Glen Coakley. To the right is a picture of Glen from his January, 2003 weekend in Barcelona, Spain with his wife Jennifer.
Glen Coakley was in born in Pennsylvania, USA, on June 21st, 1971 AD of the Gregorian calendar. He is the son of Eugene Robert (1932-) and RoseAnn (1932-) Coakley.
Glen has three siblings. The oldest is Eugene Robert Coakley, Jr. (1965-)(Robert, Bob) who married Marie Livelsberger in 1997. Next is Patricia Ann Coakley who married Jeffrey DiPietro in 1986 becoming Patricia Ann DiPietro. The youngest of all of the siblings, by 30 minutes, is Glen's identical twin brother, Scott Eric who married Stefany A. Sticher in 1998. Glen married Jennifer Lynn Weiss on Dec. 1st, 2001 in quite a whirlwind of a time though not ceremony.
Glen is a recent transplant to the Twin Cities, most recently from the United Kingdom but originally from Philly. He is a software developer by profession but, really, a scientist at heart. He likes using his mind to contemplate, speculate, understand how and why things work, and improve upon them. He likes to using his hands to build new things, to tinker and improve existing things and to force my mind to take a break.
Associations
Glen Coakley is a
Sr. Software Engineer by trade and creating software is also one of his
many hobbies. He is a member of the Minnesota Information Professionals
Society, the Association for
Computing Machinery (ACM), The Open Group and was a member at
large of ICANN until its
